SAY HELLO TO SELF DEFENCE
Self-defense is a technique through which one can protect themselves
from any kind of harm with one’s own might and power. It is needed by both
genders because no one is safe in this world in one way or another.
Self-defense gives you that potential and energy which is a crucial technique
at the time of the crime and makes you feel stronger. It is the basic right for
everyone to know how to defend own self.
In the 21st century,
where no one is safe, in such a case, it is our duty to know that no one else but,
we are responsible for our own protection.
Every other day, we encounter the news involving various accidents
happening in the world through social media and televisions. Women are being
subjected to acid attacks victims, sexually harassed, and abused. Not only women
but, men are also being victimized by mob attacks. So, the way forward for both
men, and women is to learn self-defense.
One should learn self-defense because it gives you confidence, power, and energy that is most needed when any kind of surviving scenario occurs. Confidence helps you not be frozen at the time of any frightening situation, if your confidence is shaken you will be in danger but, if you keep your confidence stronger then you will easily overcome someone who is harming you.
BASIC TECHNIQUES OF SELF
DEFENSE
The basic primer of self-defense is fitness, if you are physically fit then you can perform the following self-defense moves which include
ATTACK MOST VULNERABLE PLACES: The most vulnerable areas of any person include the eyes, nose, throat, chest, knees, and groin. If you remember these areas, you can easily defend your attacker no matter how big he is.
HITTING THE COLLERBON: Hitting with a fist or fingers between the collarbones will help you to disorient your attacker enough and takes too much time to come back to his senses.
ATTACKING THE GROIN: Hitting this area will paralyze the attacker, and you can easily escape the place.
HITTING THE ATTACKER’S NOSE WITH THE FOREHEAD: If you are grabbed from the front and cannot move your hand then hit the attacker’s nose with your forehead so that he moves a little away from you then hit him in the groin with your knee.
HITTING WITH AN ELBOW: If you are being grabbed from one side then use your elbow to hit a harasser. A most dangerous move to save yourself. Hit the attacker’s temple, jaw, or, nose through an arched move. When he moves a little back then hit him in the belly or chest. This will disorient him and you can easily escape the place.
YOU ARE GRABBED FROM THE BACK:
If you are grabbed
from the back, then quickly bend back down and try to hit him with the back of
your head as he put one of his legs forward then bend quickly grab his leg, and
pull. This will lose his balance and you have enough time to escape that place.
But if you are not
physically fit then try to run to any nearby store and shop or call the police
and always carry protection with yourself such as pepper spray or any tool in
your purse that you find easy to use.
To Sum Up,
self-defense will help a person to stand for the protection of him/herself.
Self-defense is the key to surviving and living happily with or without the
help of someone else. It teaches you to don’t wait for a hero you be your own
hero.
